Behavior Therapy Training Institute: A Training for Treating OCD in Communities of Color
May 19 @ 8:00 am - May 21 @ 2:00 pm
The BTTI is a three-day intensive training course in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for mental health professionals who aim to treat individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders. The BTTI was developed to increase the number of therapists properly trained in using CBT and ERP to treat OCD around the world.
The IOCDF is committed to partnering with Communities of Color in our efforts to expand access to training and clinical education for OCD treatment. Last year, the BTTI for Treating OCD in Communities of Color was launched in Washington DC. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue growing this program at this year’s event in Atlanta, Georgia.
This training is intended for BIPOC clinicians and will be taught by BIPOC faculty, with leading experts Dr. Monnica Williams and Dr. Jenny Yip serving as Clinical Co-Directors.
